BECOME A MEMBER The Friends of Latodami Environmental Education Center is a group whose mission is to support the Latodami Environmental Education Center and increase community involvement. This includes: Educating the community about the environmental and historic value of Latodami Developing a program to preserve Latodami Actively engaging in the protection and improvement of the environment We want present and future generations to experience Latodami and the wildlife and native plants of the area first hand and to learn about the importance of habitat conservation. Read more about it here. Our first Barn Owls arrived at Latodami on Sept 1^st, 2005 and were released Sept 25^th (you can track their flights here). The Friends of Latodami are attempting to create a file of historical information on Latodami’s past. Families that have been influential to Latodami include Kidd, Kelly, Emmett (or Emmitt), Brown, Goehring, Horning, Reichhold, and Grom.
